Živorad Nikolić is a London-based accordionist and teacher, originally from Serbia. He trained at the Miloje Milojević School of Music before continuing his studies in Marseille and graduating
from the Royal Academy of Music in 2009, where he studied with Owen Murray and later became an Associate (ARAM).
Živorad has performed internationally as a soloist and ensemble musician at major venues and festivals including the Royal Albert Hall, Southbank Centre and WOMAD. He is a member of Paprika,
Fugata Quintet, Accordduo, She’koyokh and Vremeplov, with whom he performs traditional and folk music from Serbia and the wider Balkan region.
Deeply rooted in Balkan musical traditions, Živorad is not only an accomplished accordionist but also a highly expressive singer in this style. Alongside his performing career, he is a dedicated
teacher working with students of all ages.
