“What makes She’Koyokh stand out?  It’s that most simple and obvious of things:  they’re just all very, very, good musicians” -  fROOTS

We did it! You have helped us raise £5440 towards our fifth album. THANK YOU!

She'Koyokh are celebrating their 25th anniversary and want this to be a year to remember by releasing album number five. To find out more, watch the video and go to the crowdfunder. Thank you for your support!

She'Koyokh (UK, TUR, SRB) are London's seven-piece, virtuosic, versatile and prize-winning ensemble playing klezmer and traditional music from the Balkans, Turkey and beyond.

Formed in 2001, She'Koyokh are celebrating their 25th year of touring the continent, gigging at festivals, performing in Europe's most prestigious concert halls, playing at weddings and absorbing the rich folk music traditions of Jewish eastern Europe, Turkey and the Balkans.

She'Koyokh are a live-force to be reckoned with - a wild swirl of klezmer clarinet, Romanian violin, jazzy guitar licks, virtuoso accordion, driving double bass and dance-inducing percussion, plus the sweet and passionate voice of Çigdem Aslan.
