Robin Harris
Robin has been working professionally in London for seven years and has recently graduated from the Guildhall with a Masters in Jazz Performance. Robin was introduced to klezmer five years ago; since then, he has unwittingly taken up the post as one of the few klezmer trombonists in the UK. Robin is extremely versatile, however, playing jazz, ska, funk, soul, samba and salsa. He also produced a CD of music performed by the inmates of Wormwood Scrubs prison, to great critical success. Recent performances have included a UK tour with the trumpeter Susan Watts, and he has also been asked to perform as a guest with Stuart Curtis, one of the UK’s leading clarinettists, at the Pizza Express Soho.
